Collection: Juneteenth Collection

In June of 1865, our ancestors in Galveston, Texas were informed of the abolishment of slavery. This information came two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, marking the ending of slavery for all of our people.

Today, we celebrate this victory in a major way while acknowledging the journey, hardships we’ve faced, and the ongoing struggle for freedom and equality.

This collection is an ode and homage to our ancestors.
